Ένα ευκατάστατο ζευγάρι, ο επιχειρηματίας Νίκος Γεωργίου και η 45χρονη γυναίκα του Άσπα, πέφτει θύμα ληστείας. Ο επιχειρηματίας δολοφονείται άγρια και η γυναίκα του ξυλοκοπείται και δένεται σε καρέκλα. Η κόρη τους η Μαρίνα, που επιστρέφει από νυχτερινή διασκέδαση βρίσκεται μπροστά στο σοκαριστικό θέαμα. Οι έρευνες της αστυνομίας δεν καταλήγουν πουθενά. Η Άσπα και η Μαρίνα στηρίζουν η μια την άλλη. Κοντά στις δυο γυναίκες το δεξί χέρι του επιχειρηματία, ο 35χρονος Δημήτρης. Λίγο καιρό μετά, η Μαρίνα καταλαβαίνει ότι η μητέρα της βλέπει τον Δημήτρη όχι μόνο ως καλό φίλο, αλλά και ως έναν γοητευτικό άντρα. Δεν μπορεί να δεχτεί ότι η μητέρα της ξεπέρασε τόσο γρήγορα τον άδικο χαμό του πατέρα της και ξεκινάει ένα επικίνδυνο παιχνίδι με τον Δημήτρη. Δεν χάνει ευκαιρία να τον προκαλεί ερωτικά.
