Efter nogle vilde drømme vågner parret op og Berit vil skilles. Hun er meget nedtrykt og nyser på dr. Schmidts bord og da hun rydder op får hun nøglen med i lommen. Da Berit misforstår hvorfor Ruth og Flemming er på skadestuen taber hun nøglen og vil tilbringe aftenen på sofaen med slik og en video. Det er kedeligt så hun ringer efter natlægen som viser sig at være dr. Schmidt. Han truer hende med nøglen, som Flemming imens har brugt til at finde et hemmeligt regnskab. Og da hans mor skal på ferie kommer han hjem tids nok til at redde Berit og se skattevæsnet fange dr. Schmidt for skattesnyd. Berit og Flemming forsones og ser hvad skattekisten indeholder.
