Tatya Dixit confesses his crime to Raghunath and the Prime Minister, and says that Gangadhar and Laxmibai are in danger. However, he passes out before telling the names of the conspirators. Raghunath and the Prime Minister set out with troops to find the king and queen. Meanwhile, Gangadhar and Laxmibai take refuge in an abandoned temple.
