ある愛の詩
名家の四世、オリバーとイタリア移民の娘、ジェニーは次第に惹かれ合い、父の反対を押し切ったオリバーは、ハーバードの法律学校へ入る少し前にジェニーと結婚。送金は中止されるが、学費や生活費の為にジェニーは働き、貧しいながらも幸せな日々を送っていた。そしてオリバーは優秀な成績で卒業し法律事務所へ勤めるため２人はニューヨークへ移るのだった。
