« Allo Mattia ? J’arrive ! » Et voilà Mattia avec un gros problème. Son copain Eduard, avec qui il doit emménager à Madrid, débarque à Rome à l’improviste pour lui faire une surprise et rencontrer ses beaux-parents. Mais Mattia ne les a pas vraiment mis au courant : en fait il ne leur a même jamais dit qu’il était gay, comme il est supposé l’avoir fait. Dilemme : coming-out ou confession du mensonge ? Mattia peut-il compter sur la dévouée Stefania et sur le flamboyant Giacomo pour trouver une solution ?
